This can happen if the device has not been placed correctly or is not fastened (i.e. hanging or moving about). You should always make sure that the device is placed so that the top (the side with striped plastic) is pointing towards the sky and use the provided velcro strips to fasten the device securely.

If you still experience problems, it may be that you have a 'jumpy' vehicle (smaller cars, motorbikes, mopeds etc) and need to adjust the sensitivity of the device. Try playing around with the sensitivity settings in the app for your device until you find the right balance. NOTE: 1 = most sensitive, 200 = least sensitive.
Lastly, if you find you get alerts even when the device is sitting still, please make sure to set your "Auto update when still" to at least 24 hours (which is our recommended setting).
